What does this tool do?

Heuristically parse a supplied User-Agent string into browser, OS, device type and engine without fingerprinting. Inputs: User-Agent string. Outputs: Browser, Browser version, Operating system, Device type, Rendering engine, Raw User-Agent.

How to use it?

Enter user-agent string, then choose “Parse”. Clear removes inputs and results and restores initial options.

Processing is local. Entered URLs are data: they are not visited, uploaded, logged or placed in the route. Generated markup is inert text. Reference lookups use bundled data, and previews are illustrative rather than guaranteed platform output.

User-Agent parsing is heuristic; strings can be reduced or spoofed. This does not identify a device with certainty and never reads your browser's User-Agent.
