What does this tool do?

Look up a header's canonical name, category, purpose and typical example in a local curated reference. Inputs: Header name. Outputs: Header name, Header category, Purpose, Typical example.

How to use it?

Enter header name, then choose “Lookup”. Copy copies the displayed result or the labeled example/decoded value. Clear removes inputs and results and restores initial options.

Processing is local. Entered URLs are data: they are not visited, uploaded, logged or placed in the route. Generated markup is inert text. Reference lookups use bundled data, and previews are illustrative rather than guaranteed platform output.

Case-insensitive curated reference, not every registered header. A typical example is not appropriate for every application. Copy copies the example only.
