What does this tool do?

Inspect percent-encoded runs, decoded values and their positions, and show a fully decoded preview locally. Inputs: URL or encoded text. Outputs: Encoded sequences, Decoded characters, Position information, Fully decoded preview.

How to use it?

Enter url or encoded text, then choose “Inspect”. Copy copies the displayed result or the labeled example/decoded value. Clear removes inputs and results and restores initial options.

Processing is local. Entered URLs are data: they are not visited, uploaded, logged or placed in the route. Generated markup is inert text. Reference lookups use bundled data, and previews are illustrative rather than guaranteed platform output.

Positions are zero-based UTF-16 code-unit offsets. Multibyte UTF-8 escapes are grouped. Invalid escapes remain unchanged and are identified with warnings. Copy copies the decoded preview.
