What does this tool do?

Inspect supported PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server connection strings while keeping the password masked. Inputs: Connection string. Outputs: Database type, Host, Port, Database name, Username, Masked password, Parameters.

How to use it

Enter a supported connection string. Parsed passwords remain masked and are never revealed. Choose “Parse”. Clear removes all inputs and results and restores initial options.

All processing is local and never executes SQL or connects to a database. Dialect-aware tools support documented subsets of PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and SQL Server. INSERT extraction accepts explicit-column literal VALUES only, not arbitrary queries. Connection tools support PostgreSQL/MySQL URIs and SQL Server ADO.NET strings without testing credentials. Prefer parameterized queries or prepared statements when executing SQL in an application.
