What does this tool do?
Generate formatted Web App Manifest JSON from explicit app settings and icon metadata without fetching icons. Inputs: Name, Short name, Start URL, Scope, Display mode, Theme color, Background color, Icons. Outputs: Web App Manifest JSON.
How to use it?
Enter name, short name, start url, scope, display mode, theme color, background color, icons, then choose “Generate”. Copy copies the displayed result or the labeled example/decoded value. Download saves the generated .webmanifest locally. Clear removes inputs and results and restores initial options.
Processing is local. Entered URLs are data: they are not visited, uploaded, logged or placed in the route. Generated markup is inert text. Reference lookups use bundled data, and previews are illustrative rather than guaranteed platform output.
Relative or HTTP/HTTPS URLs only. Empty optional fields are omitted. A manifest alone does not make a complete PWA; browser installation rules vary.
